never, never, never, never

I think It would be hard for me to identify a time when i was more ashamed of being a woman than I am right now, listening to Sarah Palin – blaahaaaaah – bleat out her sheeple, regurgitated-republican puke.

I think I may actually be physically sick.

* I typed out a whole lot more as I listened to her read the speech that someone wrote for her and I just… its too much. Its all so, so wrong. I’m so angry and disgusted that anyone could say these things and that anyone could believe them*

Crap. I have to get up in 6 hours and my brain is on fire.

  1. Ugh- even worse is the sudden surge of support for her in all the little interviews from the RNC. I hope next time there’s a democrat with any personal issues, all the conservatives just go, “oh, they’re a person! we shouldn’t be looking into their personal life.”

  2. You are not alone. It was mind-numbingly horrid.

But then again, she called herself a pitbull with lipstick. Not an image I’d like to invoke upon myself, an one the quite suits, don’t you think. Hm. I must blog tonight after choir. There’s just so much to say.

  3. I made my husband turn off the television, because I was getting ready to throw things at it. 😉 That pit bull joke she made was just inappropriate, and if they’re going to talk special needs kids, they better change NCLB. AAAAAARGH…I’m stopping now……

    lol!

  4. Yeah no kidding. I usually listen to NPR in the morning on my way to work but I’ve had to make do with CDs so I can avoid the republican drivel. I’m so ready for the election to just happen.

Did you get my email ages ago? The one I wrote when I finished Breaking Dawn? Also, my sister is having a hard time getting into Twilight. 😦 I told her it gets more exciting…you know when. So I’ll keep you posted.

    xoxo

  5. Oh my goodness! Thank you for saying out loud what I have been having run through my head for the past week or so! UGH! (and my dh likes her!!! double puke!

  6. My favorite part is how the same folks that talked so much about how Hilary needs to stop whining about being mistreated as a woman are now whining about Palin being mistreated as a woman. Oh, yes, and how she had more experience than Obama. I don’t even know where to begin…

  7. I agree. I can’t stand Sarah Palin and all she stands for. She is a slap in the face to all women.

(ps – I love love love your felt graham cracker!)
