I just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks to those of you that called, stopped and e-mailed to see how I was yesterday.
A 2 year-old child was struck and killed by a school bus in my work district yesterday morning.
I DO NOT want to imagine what the family and the driver are going through. Though we drove in the same district I did not know the driver personally but I am heartbroken for all involved.
Truly terrible for everyone. Hope you’re doing alright too.
How awful for all involved. When I woke up this morning, I thought about how for the parents, it was their first day waking up without their little child (that is, if they slept at all).
So sad.
That is so awful. I would know what to do with myself in either position, driver or parent.
What a totally awful thing to happen. My heart goes out to that family and to the bus driver. I cannot imagine how anyone would get through such a devastating thing.
Thinking of you too, take care.
May the Goddess hold that new little angel tightly in her arms tonight and send her love to those grieving parents.

I picture the face of my sweet little, barely 2 year old, angel. My eyes sting and my throat swells. My heart aches for the family, the driver, and the short life of this child. It also makes me think of the broader world and all those who suffer. Whatever the cause, the death of the innocent is wretched!!!
Love to you. Miss you…
That poor family
To lose a child must be a terrible thing to bear. And the driver who has to live with it, even if there’s nothing they could do to avoid it.
And you – I hope you’re coping ok too – it’s all a bit close to home. Thinking of you today.
I just can’t imagine how quickly it all must have happened. It only takes a second or two for life to change forever. I must say that it makes me appreciate what I have even more when I realize what kind of horrible pain exists in the world.
How tragic! Prayers go out to the family and driver.
horrible.
