Muget de Bois

Well, nobody guessed what I was making but a few of you came close.

Yes, it was for more flowers. The pic was of a lovely pale pink Cascade220

from which I cast on 50 sts, knit one row, cast off and crocheted a picot edge.

Then it was felted - and turned into these:

1. the felted strip cut into 1 inch bits, 2. lovely yellowy green teardrop beads,

3. beads on wire wrapped with floral tape, 4. sustenance, mmmm

That last pic is a bit out of focus but the color is dead on. Lily of the Valley.

I’m finishing up the stems on more greenery for the bouquet today and then

I’ll be done - I have to be! She’s getting married tomorrow!! Whee!

I hope to have pics of the finished bouquet tonight or tomorrow morning.

And after a random drawing from the commentors and those that e-mailed me,

Marti has some lovely yarn headed her way. Congrats.
